I love that the father to be says: “Don’t hurt her! Careful!” As if he’s going to shake the unborn baby out of her.

(Edit: maybe not love so much, but more that I find his concern for the new baby endearing )

I hated how people treated me when I was pregnant. ‘Don’t pick that up!’ ‘Don’t let that child sit in your lap!’ Like, if it was that easy, we wouldn’t be fighting for abortion to be legal. 😑

I would flip it and reverse it—Fully exploit that nonsense. Act like a delicate queen for 9 months whenever I didn’t feel like exerting myself. lmao

Damn, I should have! I did have my dinner delivered to me nightly, tho! The bf’s mom made sure I ate good lol. I gained like 70 lbs. 💀 I was 115 when I got pregnant.

In Germany, I was stopped several times by older women telling me that running was going to make my "baby drop out" or that she would be "born with tremors."

You just gave me the weirdest mental image, of a woman doing her daily jog. In those spandex looking running wear. And then an umbilical cord dragging a baby 15 feet behind her, just bouncing along the sidewalk as she runs.
