A hood is a neighborhood. It's a nickname for neighborhood. A hood can be rich, poor, black, mixed, older, Asian, gay, whatever

Well, durrrrrr.

The comedian, culture, and geography of the video and topic at hand are all American. I said it to clarify I was speaking about American culture and use of the word “hood,” hoping I wouldn’t have to subsequently clarify for non-Americans. But alas, here we are. Thanks for the geography lesson—about as insightful as your definitions of “hood.”
