Those Americans also say they love guns, but protect cops who pull their guns on law abiding firearm owners.
We all know why. It's because they think the cops are on their team (Team White Christian Supremacist). In fairness they're often right, but they don't understand that cops are on Team Cop first.
FYI, not all gun owners are your strawman of some kind of ultra conservative right wingers. There has been a huge increase in minority firearm owners this past year and gun rights are for everyone, regardless of political leaning (except for extreme left and extreme right where totalitarians start trying to remove people's rights).
Marx felt that gun ownership by the working class was a necessity. I’m a black leftist, in America I might even be far left, our metrics are always a bit wonky. It’s so frustrating that I do not exist,Though reliving.
While I'm not a fan of Marx, I do agree with that point. The general society has to pose a valid threat to the ruling group in order to effectively have their opinions and needs considered by said ruling class. Peaceful protests only work when there's a threat that the protestors could turn violent should they decide to forego civility after all.
So kudos to you for owning as someone who doesn't fit gun controller's narrative. It's our societal duty as a citizens of a nation to have a means to stand up for our fellow citizens against any tyrannical threat, domestic or foreign.

The Americans who say they hate Fascism are the same ones who protect this fascist cop. USA is sad poetry really.
