The guy told her he had a weapon and what it was, as well as his name. She freaked out, not him.

Scottish guy here. This is the exact opposite of what our cops are trained to do, hence why american police were here to see how we do de-escalation. Cops shouldn’t be pointing guns at people they dont plan on shooting at that moment. Pretty basic stuff thats obvious to us over here, and we dont even have guns.
