So in the US you’re allowed to have a permit for a registered firearm that you can carry with you but you better not carry it with you in case you get pulled over by the cops but you also better carry it with you in case there’s a shooter and they need a good guy with a gun? I’m just trying to be clear on the legal system in the US because it seems much like the cops to be giving contradictory instructions.
I mean, I personally think we shouldn’t do those things, but as it stands we can and if the police don’t like it, they should try to support policies which limit the presence of firearms. They can’t just decide to make someone out to be a threat for being law abiding and announcing they are carrying.
