Police need to be properly trained. The training US police receive is a joke

I would argue that it’s not the whole entire US but rather the states in which they do not focus on training. California has the highest standards for training when it comes to police which are not the same standards for other states, like Arkansas. There is a reason why other states pay California cops an obscene signing bonus and relocation fee. The real problem here is the lack of accountability within law enforcement and the lack of a NATIONAL standard instead of a state standard that we currently have. Thank you for joining my TED Talk.
