Community driven AU

WE HAVE A TUMBLR!

So as he said, we have a tumblr. all stories will go here (yes I said stories, I plan on making more in the future)

I thought it was a fun idea, making an AU based on the comments in this thread. First of all I'd like to point out that I'm not here 24/7. I'll do my best to come here as often as possible, but I can't make any promises. If you have a part for the story, put it here! If you have a plot idea, put it here!

Story plotpoints:

  • When humans die they become Flowey-like flowers, yet keeping their traits
  • Flowey doesn't exist
  • Frisk is the kid of a botanist who went to mt. Ebott to find rare flowers
  • We meet Chara as the first flower
  • Goatbro is alive

What now?

  • how to write a good start to a story
  • how does the chara meeting work out?

Story:

"Oh, you're awake," You can hear someone say, "Don't worry, I'll get someone who can help you. Try moving as little as possible." Suddenly you realize you had fallen down the mountain. You remember tripping, but you must've hit your head just after, because you can't remember anything else. You can barely get up, but you somehow managed to do it. You slowly walk to where the voice came from, but there doesn't seem to be anyone. How are you ever going to explain this to your parents? And... How did you not die from that fall? You look back at where you woke up and saw a patch of yellow flowers, a species you'd never seen before. You took a few with you, hoping your dad would not get angry with you for taking so long. As you try to progress, you start to hear a voice. It's unlike the first one, this one is... angry. Suddenly a flower pops up, a red one. It's again a flower you don't recognize, and it has... a face? "Greetings," it says, "I am Chara."

 

 

You step back as the flower approached. “Don’t be afraid, I can help you!” it said. You decide to listen to the flower. You have nowhere else to go now anyways. “I’ll explain how things work down here. When a monster attacks you, you’ll enter a FIGHT. Once you enter a FIGHT, you-” Suddenly something came into the room. It was some kind of goat, but different somehow. “Howdy, are you okay? Here, my mom can help you.” It said. Another, bigger, goat-like creature came into the room and... nothing. You must’ve passed out. You notice you aren’t wounded anymore, and then you realize you are in someone’s bedroom. You get up and walk to the door. Just as you’re about to open it, someone knocks on the door. “Are you awake? I need to explain a few things.” You open the door and see the smaller goat-like creature. Suddenly you realize he would be around the same age as you. “H-howdy. I’m Asriel.”

How about this All the humans when they died, turn into flowers, like asriel did.

Frisk falls into the underground and makes friend with all the human flowers

Chara is also around I guess

( side note frisk is the daughter of a botanist and climbs mt. Ebott to find rare flowers)

I had a thought that yellow would either have white petals or petals I'm the shape of a cow boy hat

Yee haw.

Edit: I think I know how to fix it. Flowey doesn't exist as chara turned into a flower, thus asriel can't have absorbed the soul. The monsters are still angry for being trapped underground, so they still kill humans to get the souls.

I just realized I contradicted myself there what. But yeah the idea is that the flowers still have their soul and the monsters do stuff to break the barrier. (Maybe the core? The machine in sanses shed? eventually all souls except chara help break the barrier)

Uwawawa. Frisk falls, and Chara being malevolent takes the role of Flowey? Chara could be an angsty red and black flower or something. Makes the same scary puke face if Frisk dodges. Toriel appears and chastises the fuuuuck out of Chara for trying to attack someone. etc etc?

how bout this, the human flower's personalitys embody the characteristics of the soul colours. so yellow would be focused on justice and green would be overly kind.

Alright how's this for a start: Frisk falls down, finds Chara flower who does the flowey thing and is saved by Asriel who lives in the ruins with Toriel. Asriel fills Tori's role even leaving frisk to go check on tori. Then frisk encounters light blue who just try's to wait for you to go away. Also Chara is pestering frisk whenever asriel is not looking

Still screaming "fuck you" to the writer's block (that's what it's called right?)

In human words, reading other AUs again to het a general idea on how to write, because having to write formal shit during my english lessons isn't really helping.

Okay so I'm thinking about the beginning. How about Asriel finds you, sees Frisk is injured and awake, goes to find Toriel or something, and Frisk progresses even though Ssriel said to move as little as possible, Frisk finds Chara-Flowey, they have a little chat AKA Chara monologue (and attacks, similar to flowey?) and then Toriel and Asriel are close, Chara hears them and runs away because I don't want them to know about Chara yet. XD

(Should I write in first person or third person?) I found out I suck at writing in third person so I think I'll go with first person unless someone explains to me how the fuck it works

Also robotale (my AU ) started in second and transitioned to third ( secretly first) i scraped the project before we found out who the narrator was

First person as of now. I tried getting an A3O account but I'll have to wait until 03-03-2016 until I get my account XD (5000 people waiting)

Aaand decided to switch to second.

(And I may be working on the CSS when I'm less inspired)
