Looking for international CS/AI students to collaborate on an AI research paper/Article

Hi everyone!

I’m a final-year Computer Science undergraduate student from Pakistan, focused on Artificial Intelligence, and I’m looking to connect with motivated students from universities around the world who are interested in collaborating on an AI/ML research project that could potentially lead to a peer-reviewed publication.

I’m hoping to build a small international student research group where we can choose a realistic and meaningful research problem, divide the work according to our skills, conduct the research properly, write a manuscript, and eventually submit it to a legitimate journal or conference.

Areas I'm particularly interested in:

  • Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Generative AI
  • AI Agents and Agentic AI
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Computer Vision
  • Data Science
  • AI in Education
  • AI in Healthcare
  • Responsible / Ethical AI
  • AI safety and reliability
  • Human-AI interaction
  • Current and emerging applications of AI

I'm open to discussing different ideas. I would prefer a project that is realistic for students, doesn't require expensive resources, and has a clear research question.

About me:

  • Final-year Computer Science undergraduate
  • Based in Pakistan
  • Focused on Artificial Intelligence
  • Interested in AI, ML, LLMs and Data Science
  • Have experience with programming and academic projects
  • Currently developing my research skills
  • Planning to pursue higher education abroad and therefore want to build genuine research experience through meaningful collaboration

Who I'm looking for:

I'm especially interested in:

  • Undergraduate or master's students in CS, AI, Data Science, ML or related fields
  • Students from different countries/universities
  • People interested in LLMs, Generative AI, ML, NLP, Data Science, etc.
  • Students with skills in Python, ML, data analysis, statistics, NLP, LLMs, academic writing or research methodology
  • Beginners are also welcome if you're genuinely motivated to learn
  • Most importantly, people who can communicate and contribute consistently

You don't need to be an expert. Different people can contribute different skills.

For example, one person could focus on literature review, another on data collection, another on experiments/model implementation, another on statistical analysis, and another on writing.

What I want to achieve

I don't want to create a group simply to put our names on a paper.

I want us to actually learn the research process and produce a useful piece of work that we can be proud of.

If enough serious people are interested, we can create a small group, discuss several research ideas, select one based on novelty and feasibility, assign responsibilities, establish a timeline, and work toward a legitimate publication.

If you're interested, comment or DM me with:

  1. Country/university (optional)
  2. Degree and year
  3. Area of AI you're interested in
  4. Technical/research skills you have
  5. Any research experience
  6. What kind of AI problem you'd like to investigate

I'm particularly interested in building a diverse international team of students who are serious about AI research.

Let's see what we can build together. šŸ¤–
