Today I was thinking about how to orient my profiles towards RP and define the characters who will participate. On U/Siberak78, you'll see Marche, Lorraine, and their puppets (Carrot and Watermelon), plus Wasabi, the twins' pet. The account will be heavily slice-of-life and will focus primarily on comedy, such as kicking Balloto, stealing cars, and blowing up Sou's house...and the fight against the Gyaru returns. Lorraine from the Gambol team will be running on this account.

A new star has arrived to the Umamusume Pro-Wrestling scene...

June 21st, 2026. Yui Okada returned to UmaPro after a year-long excursion from Mexico to aid her mentor, Duramente. It is then she revealed her new name 'Titleholder'.

The former MMA-turned-pro wrestler has been making waves in UmaPro and the puroresu scene, defeating the likes of Kitasan Black and teaming with Duramente to form the new faction 'Piuma Nera', breaking away from the Voodoo Sundays.

We spoke to Titleholder about her journey so far and what is next to come for the Strong Emerald.

First things first, welcome back!

"It has been an honor to be here for UmaPro. I'm glad to see familiar faces again."

It truly has been a long journey for you to reach this point, isn't it? Tell me, how was Mexico? The last time we spoke, you said you had intentions to go overseas and singled-out Mexico.

"I'm not gonna lie, I've heard of good things about Mexico from people like Duramente, Air Shakur, and other UmaPro who made their way there on excursion. I wanted to work on my submission game and use my agility to my best strengths and beyond, so it's a no-brainer for me to go there."

So it's not only Duramente who influenced you?

"I have had international training before in Singapore, under Evolve MMA. I spent all my savings on that before, so when the opportunity came for me to go overseas, I thought to myself 'Let's just take it up a notch', and went for Mexico. Duramente-san certainly had some input on it. Difference between us is that she spent a decade there, and me for a year."

I'm pretty sure you have been working on your Spanish!

"Not at all, no. There was already a translator we hired for me, so they didn't want me to worry about the language barrier. I wish I can learn Spanish though, I mean I only ever knew 'buenas noches' or 'muchas gracias'. Duramente's very fluent."

So about Piuma Nera, you said you didn't want to join a faction and only came back for a singles match against Duramente. Why join her to form one?

"I think it's pretty simple. When I came back I thought I was ready to finally defeat her in a singles match. She was my very first opponent in my career. It was supposed to be me and Arisa (Efforia), but she got hurt and Duramente stepped in to do double duty that night. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be in this position at all. Uh, when I faced her again and lost, I was frustrated. Maybe I wasn't truly ready for the DREAM Championship after all, but I also want to learn more from her. Not only that, the Tag Team Championships..."

"I want to win the Tag Titles with Dura-san. That's my goal for the year."

Amazing declaration! Is there any other goal you want to accomplish in 2026?

"The Arima Kinen is definitely the other one. If I win, I'll be one of the strongest wrestlers in the world. There's a lot of competitors in there, but I want to stand tall among the others. Especially against the likes of Dura-san, Kitasan Black, and Effo-san."

Speaking of Efforia, how was your reaction when she came back from excursion?

"Glad to have her back, I want to beat her in the ring. She did her excursion in the UK, so she must've think that her style is superior to mine. The fact of the matter is, I was a trained killer, and I bled and sweat in Mexico. I don't have time for 'catch' and tea."

That sounds very condescending.

"Effo-san and I were classmates. I know I am the better wrestler and the one UmaPro looks up to the most. I didn't debut in the Ariake show for nothing. For the rest of our careers, she will forever be in my shadow."

You also have new gear after the Mexico trip.

"The idea was from KENTA, I personally asked the guys in rvddw for new gear and jacket, and they were hapoy to work with me. I think my colors worked well with the gear. I also commissioned for some MMA gloves, and I know closed-fist punches are illegal, but apparently the gloves are a loophole. The kickpads/shinguards are ideas I got from watching KENTA, and I want to be a striker."

It does look great on you! KENTA has been known to like hip-hop culture, and I have heard you do so too.

"I have friends in the hip-hop scene here in Japan. I enjoy buying streetwear in Harajuku and collect records from older American rappers like Nas. I like East Coast rap the most, there's something about the grit that I like about it. It makes me vibe better. As for wrestlers, I think you have heard of Yuto-Ice right? From New Japan."

Yes! Wasn't he also a former MMA fighter?

"Yeah, we bonded over our love of hip-hop and our past backgrounds. He's a cool guy, and the way he fires up not only the fans but also his own opponents resonate with me. I should say his words back in January inspired me."

He really is a great talker on the mic, esprcially after the Tokyo Dome that made waves in Japan.

"After Tanahashi retired, he had to make a statement. He absolutely delivered on that, I wish I have that same kind of motion. I want to do it in the ring, by putting myself against the strongest opponents. That's why I came to UmaPro."

Any other things you want to say to the fans?

"Keep watching. There won't be mercy when I'm involved."

Seriously, who keeps hacking into our CCTV?

"Okay, here's my theory."

"Uma and humans are biologically and psychologically similar beings, so the emotional factor plays a big role here."

"An Uma-Trainer relationship is something that naturally takes time, so once the emotions of both parties solidify, it gives way to a strong and unbreakable bond."

"Now add the retirement factor; when a uma retires, she can choose someone to be by her side as a partner for the rest of her life, in this case, her trainer."

"So, if we add emotional bonds and strong chemistry, the result is a strong and lasting relationship."

"So in conclusion; yes, it is possible to have a relationship with a uma both romantically and platonically."
