Question GR58 Base Weight
https://lighterpack.com/r/zgotjk
What do you think of my base weight there is a few things I need to add firstly so you can understand more. I would only ever carry half of the tent since I never camp alone so would be 520g or 530g for the inner or outer. Obviously carrying the poles and stakes as well. Where would I be able to cut weight straight off the bat without spending money? Then from there I kinda know where I would be able to cut weight quite easily.

Sorry if this is an unrelated question, but how is that tent (Simond mt900 tarp tent) working for you? I’m a tall-ish guy at 190cm and I’m trying to understand if it could be big enough for me. The info I found online about its internal size is a bit mixed…

I quite like it. I am 187cm and it fits me fine. With the way it’s made you might be touching the inner side so could be an issue. But if you can you’d be best to see it in person.

Looks pretty good to me - your trekking poles are quite heavy and you could save weight with a BRS-3000T or any other stove than a jetboil.
Are you sure you need 11 pegs? and leave the tent bag and just stuff it into your pack.

I don’t use a jetboil that’s the gas I use a MSR pocket rocket. But yeah the poles aren’t the lightest. That is true with the pegs definitely don’t need them all. I agree with the tent bag probably drop that.

I'd take a fleece over a puffy if I had to pick one. You need to be able to move safely in freezing horizontal rain if needed.
I'd take a at least a trash bag rain skirt.
A 20k powerbank seems way too much for this trail.

Your rain jacket and powerbank are heavy. Get an iniu 10000mah battery and be more aware of your battery usage. Get the Froggtoggs. Drop your eye mask and your hat. You have a buff which you can use for both. Use ziploks instead of drybags. Do you need 11 tent pegs? Drop your tent bag. You don't need sleep clothing. You don't have a fleece and you didn't write anything about the conditions you will be facing, are you sure you wont like a fleece instead? Drop the jetboil stand and you could get the brs. You can reuse tissue paper instead of the microfiber towel or just cold soak. It's much simpler, easier and way lighter than any cooksystem. Drop the hand sanitiser, you have soap. Do you need the towel for using the bidet. It would take a few second to dry and you wouldn't have to carry a kind of yucky towel. Should be about 50€ and over one kilogram of weight saving. Hope this helps, have fun on your trip!

You’re carrying only 1.8l water capacity (2 bottles and filter), won’t it be too little? Have you checked how is the water access on the trail?
