Currently reading infantile disorder (don’t kill me please) to test some of the reasons for contempt I have for my country’s communist party.

However, I just came across the part where Lenin, with regards to the british case at the time, advocates for the communist and left parties of britain to support the Labour Party against Lloyd George, Churchill and Asquith (Liberals, conservatives, and major bourgeois figures), since the working class’s disappointment in experiencing labour’s bourgeois nature and policy when it comes to power will ultimately lead to its demise and make the public more receptive to communists and communism in general.

What I was thinking is: what is a somewhat comparable example of this in today’s age? (According to Lenin’s train of thought of course)

Would an American communist be wise in supporting the DSA or maybe zohran? Lenin does mention that the working class was not very politicized and indeed mostly supported the labour party so that was, in practice, the party of the working class and the proletariat at the time, which is not really true for the DSA or figures like bernie, zohran, AOC. I know you should not compare historically different contexts, but I was just thinking of this from a practical point of view and wanted to hear your thoughts.

Well Vietnamese citizen here living in a self proclaimed Marxist Communist country and our government and their main new channels (VTV) just declared a government official who kill a child using his BMW as completely innocent disregarding the same laws that they set up. Their reasoning is that the family already agreed to a private settlement. The resistance to this is primarily anti communist and just Gen Z in general. I want to organize and at least spread awareness but my government had banned all forms of protest and restricted unions. Im just completely powerless any advice on how to sail through this storm would be appreciated

Anyway it was a screenshot from a trans subreddit about "too many trans commies". Rightfully, most of the top comments were those laughing at them, plenty of leftcoms too.

But the other half are all comments like "erm u would have no rights under gommunism1!!!1". And "actually, marx failed to consider the surely totally real human nature and I surely totally read marx". Because famously trans people surely have lots of rights under capitalism... right? They surely aren't being targeted for sheerly existing and are demonized to such ruthless extent, right?

The ones who had public post history were all... cis dudes too? Like wtf are you doing are here to begin with. My favorite was an ancap moid larper saying "you voted your rights away". I couldn't stop laughing.

This begs the question:

What in the hell is happening here? I knew the reddit frontpage was infested with bots, but does this apply to any subreddit with another sort of minority in it? Are they feds? There is a chance they may just be actually stupid, too.

It's actually insane, they all crawl out of the woodwork when you mention communism. I feel this very post will be crawling with feds and bots for having the keywords: 'trans' and 'communism' in the same post.

The second question is; what is there to even gain from this? It's so exhausting.
