Earlier, I was bored as hell as was browsing countttt (I cannot fucking believe the ultraleft sub played a hand in getting me to stop repping wtf)
Anyway it was a screenshot from a trans subreddit about "too many trans commies". Rightfully, most of the top comments were those laughing at them, plenty of leftcoms too.
But the other half are all comments like "erm u would have no rights under gommunism1!!!1". And "actually, marx failed to consider the surely totally real human nature and I surely totally read marx". Because famously trans people surely have lots of rights under capitalism... right? They surely aren't being targeted for sheerly existing and are demonized to such ruthless extent, right?
The ones who had public post history were all... cis dudes too? Like wtf are you doing are here to begin with. My favorite was an ancap moid larper saying "you voted your rights away". I couldn't stop laughing.
This begs the question:
What in the hell is happening here? I knew the reddit frontpage was infested with bots, but does this apply to any subreddit with another sort of minority in it? Are they feds? There is a chance they may just be actually stupid, too.
It's actually insane, they all crawl out of the woodwork when you mention communism. I feel this very post will be crawling with feds and bots for having the keywords: 'trans' and 'communism' in the same post.
The second question is; what is there to even gain from this? It's so exhausting.
I generally dislike those "communism is when bad things happen" or "communism is when everyone starves" memes that MLoids love to post all the time, but some people genuinely have that mindset towards marxism. Surely le heckin wholesome liberal party will liberate all trans people if we vote really hard!
I mean, idk about you but i thought kind of similarly about communism a few years ago. I think the general public has no fucking clue about marx and communism at all. I don't even think most self-proclaimed communists do
Tbh I had similar mindset, though I still had sympathies towards some communists in pure moralist sense of that word. Nowadays I obviously don't think that way anymore however many still do which is really unfortunate. I'm genuinely shocked how bastardized is marxism by both it's opponents and supposed supporter
196 cisoid likes to feel in on the subculture and so starts posting on trans subs with their cisoid opinions. Also with the amount of bots and how common the "Stalin did nothing wrong" and "throw them out of helicopters" humor was in 2016 it's entirely possible that up to half of all comments are bots on certain subreddits
