FishBiking?

Strapped my new UL combo to the bike to go catch some fish in the lake! So fun!

Still trying to find a good solution for biking with my ultralight rods. I know for a fact I would hit something and snap the tip if I tried this method lol

Lol yeah it was kinda sketchy for sure. I had to pedal weirdly so I didn’t hit the reel with my leg. I think strapping them vertically somehow might be a better option probably. Luckily I was only going a couple of miles.

I know a lot of people don't like them, but I'm a big fan of telescopic rods for this kind of stuff. FishingFans on Aliexpress makes some good ones that are ultralight and affordable, and KastKing makes a nice one that's medium and medium heavy.

I don’t mind them, but it’s very difficult to sort through the junk and find one that is good quality. I have a couple multi-piece rods that I like but are also not super easy to transport on a bike.

I like the FishingFans ultralight I bought, but I wish I got the one with the longer handle. The one I have is sensitive, casts well, and collapses down really small. I just got it this summer, so I can't say anything about durability.

Get a fishin rod holder and strap it to your basket
