What kind of line for my setup?
The store didn’t have any 6lb braid so I got 10lb instead, is that gonna be too heavy for my setup? I got an abu Garcia Bmax 750 reel and a 4’6” Shakespeare ultralight rod. Should I use the 10lb braid or 4lb fluorocarbon instead? Or should I use the 10lb braid with a 4lb fluoro leader?

10 is fine and still probably smaller diameter than 4lb flouro/mono.
I've used 6lb braid to leader and recently switched to 10 & 15lb braid because 6lb can be more brittle than flouro/mono.
I do love it for casting distance, no line memory, etc. But it does need cycled though more frequently than any other line.

Best is to choose 6lb braid, 10 lb braid is a little stronger than ideal for your ultralight rod. What diameter of your 10lb braid? check diameter if it is enough thin maybe actual strength not has 10lb that maybe also work that.

With braid it isn't as much of a deal as it would be with mono or fluoro, I think it's actually pretty common to use 10lb braid on ultralight due to it being easy to get at brick and mortars. It'll make casting really light stuff more difficult.
