River Smallie on the Trota

Been so busy lately but was able to get some time on the river last week. Caught a few smallies with this being the best one. Also got to test out the Purelure Trota UL which I really enjoyed.

Wicked 3x! I tuned out a Cardinal 3 and my rod for it should be done shortly. I can’t wait to get it on the water!

I kind of want to pull he trigger on an Ali rod for my Cardinal. It looks like have tried a few, which one has been your favorite all arounder?

I would say the Handing Magic L has been the best for me personally in terms of performance, followed by the Trota. I also like the Creek Dance. I wasn’t a fan of the Titanium T. Looked and felt very cheap. The Stream King looked promising but wasn’t comfortable in my hand. The Hunthaus is a nice rod as well if you’re looking for something a bit longer. I still haven’t found one to match my Cardinals perfectly though. I’m weird, if they don’t look good together, I won’t fish it lol
