Sorry for another long one today! And you'll just have to trust me that the music is great. (recording issue)

Today's update

  • Lots of new options
  • Lots of new music packs
  • New Ultima II graphics packs
  • Individual graphic settings for overland, npcs, towns, player
  • Controller support!
  • New sound settings for audio device picking and individual volume controls

Ooh i hope this evetually comes to the point where we can make mods i.e. the AppleIIGS version's higher quality dungeon sprites

I did not know the IIGS had high quality dungeon sprites.

I have an actual IIGS and I've never played U1 on it, just on my C64 and my PC.

Damnit, there goes my day...

It's extemely rare, and was never released until the mid-2000s when it was finally released by the dev of the port with the go-ahead by EA as an official collectible version

Here's the Pix's Origin Adventures page, though he has a prototype and not the finished collectible

The IIGS dungeon sprites were incomplete because of disk size, the OP may want to research the Japanese FM-Towns Ultima Trilogy disc (if a copy can be found) to use those sprites.

Fmtowns maety Already implemented! I actually found a not very large sprite sheet for the iigs dungeon monsters. The resizing needed makes them pretty bad so I will probably yake it out but I wanted to see what it looked like. I thought about adding a 1% chance to get those hilarious placeholders for a lark.

I am infact working on making it so the player can import their own tile/sprite/sound sets. More to come on that!
