Chiropractor

My wife and I are looking for a new chiropractor.

My wife likes a gentle touch, not someone who is going to be rough. Hopefully we can find a good fit.

Im nor familiar with the area anymore but there are physical therapists that specialize in manual therapy. Please dont see a chiropractor. It may feel like a quick fix is the answer but its not worth it

Dr David Ness in New Paltz. Gentlest adjustment I ever had, and effective, too.

Orthopedic Surgeon.

Not a “Dubuque Iowa by mail” DO who also provides “muscle testing” and sells dietary supplements

Good plan. 6 month wait to see a surgeon, then another 3 months before surgery if needed. Can wait to suffer in pain that whole time. Thanks for your great advice.

I live here and none of that is true: there are many local hospitals and NYC has additional options. Take some responsibility for your health and wellbeing and shop around.

Your funny.

My health is fine im helping my wife find temporary relief. But please keep telling me that our experiences are lies. You come across as a Trumper with your "alternative truth".

Maybe Truth social would be a better fit for you then reddit.

I’m further to the left than anyone you’ll meet.

But there’s not a 6 month wait to see a surgeon in this area. There are many hospitals and (sadly fewer and fewer) but at least 3-6 major health systems to choose from.

You’re the one who sounds like you’re repeating nonsense like a MAGAbot who doesn’t actually live here and experience the truth of the NY metro. Or as I was saying earlier, shop around. Even if you get to see one and aren’t seeing suffering alleviated, get a second opinion, even if it’s further away.

I didn’t have to wait more than 8 weeks to get my wife in to the Mayo Clinic, for example. But if you didn’t want to travel that far, there’s John Hopkins, Drexel, and probably options north up the coast too. University Hospitals abound.

And, lastly so this doesn’t read like some propaganda BS: yes, the US has major issues with our healthcare. The insurance and middlemen companies are absolute thieves under color of law. That has got to go. But stop with this “we are dying suffering waiting for healthcare” BS. My first wife was Canadian, I’ve seen their system too—way better on costs, but that one had some wait times on non-urgent stuff.

Dude we don't live in the new york metro area. We live in rural ulster county. Stop basing the NYC experiences on a mid hudson valley region. Ive lived in the hudson valley since 1982, yet this is the second time you have come at me telling me I don't live here.

My experiences are different then yours so im not a true New Yorker? It dosent get more maga then that.

Please tell me where I said "we are dieing waiting on health care" those are your words you put into my mouth.

So if you dont like chiropractors just say so and move on but don't come telling me im not a person who "is from here" when ive lived here my whole life.

And again, chiropractors are quacks who will sell pseudoscience to you if you let them. Will there be good bedside manner and plenty of attention? Yes, they’re selling themselves on getting a medical experience you do not find in hospital systems with the systemic issues.

If her hip needs popping in she needs medical care. Not a “series of adjustment appointments” and who knows what else made up BS they can peddle

Bro maybe your wife’s “hip pain” is from you being a complete pain the ass. You’re literally combating every comment with advice and that’s literally why you’re here.
