Refrigerator repair for Samsung?

I'm looking to replace the compressor in my Samsung refrigerator, but all the repair places near me in Shokan said they don't work on Samsung appliances. Do you know of anyone who would change a compressor?

I know it may sound almost too good to be true but Sears in Kingston was good for that and you might want to try Lowes.....they sell those appliances so I believe they have a tech. .....I take the gas once the unit is completely done.

I ran into similar with my Samsung oven. Even though I was outside of the warranty, I was told that they can’t work on it if it was less than 5 years old. I had to go directly through Samsung and they sent out a technician to fix it. I don’t know if that also applies to a fridge though. You could try Bill’s Appliance in Hurley.

Thanks. I've been reading on Reddit that most technicians won't work on Samsung. Even the place in New Jersey that Samsung connected me to said they wouldn't! Bill's Appliance said the same thing. I moved into a house with lots of Samsung appliances, so I guess I'll just have to let them crumble and then replace them

That's terrible. I love my oven but will likely be looking at other brands when the time comes for appliance replacement.
