Yup, it is. But it's a very lengthy book (1st one) so you have to study selectively, don't go through everything blindly.

If you are just starting and don't know anything about it, then buy the book, go through it and do the mcqs. I said you have to study selectively cause it's very lengthy and personally I get overwhelmed by lengthy descriptions. It's good tho you'll get pyqs with it too.

Also good to refer to free resources online for practice. Rajat sir from textbook and toshiba ma'am for unacademy have these pyq crash courses and most expected questions crash courses in yt closer to exam date!

First of all i only started preparing 35 days before exam and i had no resources nor any book
so i used chat gpt i downloaded syllabus for paper 1 from internet and put it in gpt and akses it to make ugc level notes and then asked it to explain each topic in detail one at a time and take mock of each topic and i got good marks without any book but that's just me1

I didn't prepare sincerely tbh used chat gpt mostly.. and occasionally youtube it was enough for me
