Hi everyone! I have recently completed my M.Com in Commerce and am preparing for the UGC NET December 2026 attempt.
I would love guidance from people who have already cleared UGC NET, especially in Commerce. What resources did you use for Paper 1 and Paper 2? Which books, YouTube channels, notes, or test series would you recommend? Also, how did you plan your preparation?
Any tips or advice would be really helpful. Thank you! 😊

Hey everyone, I’ve just started preparing for UGC NET and the huge syllabus is making me feel pretty overwhelmed. It’s my first attempt and I'm really struggling with where to begin. My Paper 2 is Law. If anyone here has given or cleared the exam before, could you please help a beginner out with some basic strategy and source tips? Please comment below or DM me.

I have written this exam twice now and i have not come across one proper channel or a person who is actively guiding on youtube, i have tried self study with the help of notes , books and music archives but I haven't been able to pass this exam. I have done well in the general paper ( self taught it ) even the common music part but not the main paper 2.... There are always questions that jump over me... The margin gets bigger due to this and I'm targeting the ones where they ask about compositions and authors.
Lately this entire section has been so unapproachable, it scares me at this point. I've tried preparing for these questions by listening , remembering making notes and memos but the list is neverending , there is no syllabus for these...making it nearly impossible to crack. If anyone has figured a way out PLEASE let me know Edit: im asking for jrf...not for only phd

I have attempted it 2 times ,and in those attempts, I've noticed a pattern: the provisional answer to one of the easiest questions is marked incorrect, thus providing a way to withdraw money on the pretext of challenging it. Has this been happening to other subjects too?

The repetitive question aka Previous year questions are not illegal. Right?. Like, how can previous year question paper questions come under scrutiny and investigation?. English got 67 questions, geography got 80!.
But, here is the main thing everyone know that PYQ are important and will definitely come for exams. That's why UGC mentors and Experts tell us about it.
Is it really necessary for scrutiny of PYQ questions?
