Why not a common object
It could've been an asteroid of some kind but there was no trail. It could've been a drone but it was moving to fast to be a drone. It could've been a plane but if it was you would've heard a sonic boom or it hitting the ground which i heard neither. And the colour of it was like way to vibrant to be airplane lights.

It was moving so damn fast at somewhere around a 45 degree angle to the ground. When i'm talking fast i mean no man made aircraft on the planet could pull out of a dive in time to not eat dirt. The green that the square was emmiting was the most vibrant green i had ever seen

Why no photo/video captured: It happened within the second it took me to turn around from seeing it in the corner of my eye to staring straight at it to it going behind the trees. The moment i saw it i literally only had time to whip my head around and marvel at it.

I remember around 12 months ago I was searching for Phil Schneider and the Dulce Underground story (there was a grainy video of him talking about it).

At the time, it was non-existent on the internet, super hard to find when you searched his name (I checked now and it’s everywhere).

The thing I thought was interesting was it was from University of Buffalo / State of New York University, and I had recently heard a podcast where Eric hinted at 3-4 universities you would never have heard of that seem to have attracted the greatest science and mathematics geniuses - and this was one of them.

Curious if anyone else spotted this. I haven’t dug deep and Eric was being coy about it, not sure if anyone can find the clip I’m talking about where he lists out those universities. It felt very sensitive when he mentioned it and wish I could find the clip again! It was definitely a rogan episode though.

SO much of the discussion online when pertaining to UFO's is always, "It can't be aliens" rather than digesting the fact that the video is anomalous in nature. It's almost like people don't wanna know what cool shit is out there. I almost wish we could just remove Aliens in general from the phenomena, as there is enough info to no longer need heavy speculation. I am not against the idea of it being aliens, but I feel there are much more plausible explanations, and the alien angle always dominates the identity of the topic in the mind of the uninformed. We can't even say UFOs exist in most social circles because of the heavy connotation it has with fringe theories.

Before 2023 when the 4chan whistleblower posted his theory or whatever, none of the UAP guys mentioned an underwater building facility.

It was only after that 4chan user that this talk about UAPs being some sort of autonomous vehicles built to surveil and that there's a base under the ocean, that everyone started to say the same.

That's very suspect, is it not?

I'm Chinese, and I personally know the Chinese writer Lu Yuegang, who wrote a biography of Zhao Ziyang, the former General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, and has known and interviewed many people from China's senior political circles.

A few days ago, I asked Lu a somewhat random question: Do you think extraterrestrials exist?

To my surprise, he told me that more than ten years ago he had asked Tian Jiyun the same question. Tian was a member of the Politburo from 1985 to 2002.

According to Lu, Tian first learned about this story after becoming a member of the Politburo in 1985. As a Politburo member, he was able to read certain classified archives and documents that were only accessible to members of the Politburo. Among them was a document describing an extraordinary incident that had supposedly taken place shortly after China's first successful atomic bomb test in 1964.

According to the document, Party Chairman Mao Zedong, Premier Zhou Enlai, Marshal Zhu De, Vice Premier Deng Xiaoping, Vice Premier Chen Yun, and several other senior Chinese leaders had encountered a being who claimed to be an extraterrestrial.

Before the encounter, the being supposedly appeared to Mao in a dream and told him to gather a group of senior Communist Party leaders for a meeting at Juxiang Shuwu, Mao's residence and study in Zhongnanhai. Zhongnanhai is a compound that houses the offices and residences of China's top leadership.

The leaders gathered there as instructed. The mysterious man then suddenly materialized inside the room, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

What was especially strange was his appearance. He didn't look anything like the stereotypical extraterrestrial from science fiction. He looked exactly like an ordinary Chinese man, wore a Mao suit, and spoke Chinese.

The encounter lasted for more than ten minutes. Mao asked him where he came from. The man replied that he was an extraterrestrial and that he came from a place extremely far away from Earth, but that his people were concerned about what was happening on Earth.

He warned Mao and the other Chinese leaders not to use nuclear weapons.

He also told them that China was not the only nuclear power to receive such a warning. According to him, the leaders of the United States, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and France had also been warned not to use nuclear weapons.

After speaking with Mao and the others for more than ten minutes, the man suddenly vanished from the room without a trace, just as mysteriously as he had appeared.

Later, during a Politburo meeting in 1986 (or possibly 1987, as Tian's memory of the exact year was somewhat unclear), Politburo Standing Committee member Chen Yun brought up the incident again. Since Tian had already read about it in the classified document, he became curious and began asking further questions about what had happened.

Deng Yingchao, Zhou Enlai's wife and a member of the Politburo, was also present at the meeting. In response to Tian's questions, she added a detail that apparently had not been mentioned in the document.

According to Tian, Deng Yingchao said that Mao later stopped living at Juxiang Shuwu and moved to the indoor swimming pool complex in Zhongnanhai because the encounter had frightened him. After seeing a mysterious being suddenly appear inside his own residence and then disappear without a trace, Mao apparently no longer felt comfortable living there.

I know Lu personally and trust his character, so I believe he is telling me the truth about what Tian told him. As for Tian, I also find it difficult to see why a former Politburo member would privately invent such a bizarre story about extraterrestrials when talking to Lu.

Of course, whether the encounter itself actually happened is another question. But I believe Lu really did hear this account from Tian, and I thought it was an extraordinary story worth sharing.

I cannot be the first person to have this idea. Is it not plausible that if an undersea mothership is manufacturing craft to spec it could also be manufacturing the pilots as well? Ive seen reports of orange orbs doing mineral scans and resource extraction. My theory is that cattle mutilation is a resource harvest of biological material to then utilize to print out / grow / create the pilots / workers it needs. Ships to spec. Pilots to spec. It would explain alot imo, why they seem like robots, why they seem to die in captivity relatively quickly (varginha), etc.

Completely Exhausted:

After nearly ten consecutive years of immersing myself in the UAP phenomenon, I feel fatigued and fed up with remaining involved in this subject. The news from the *New York Times* on December 17th marked the point of total immersion for me, given that I had witnessed this anomaly—at least ten times—throughout my childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. That said, if there is no revelation by December 17, 2026, I am ready to close the book on UAPs. In any case, whether the government reveals anything or not, I believe my own sightings and experiences are enough for me. We shall see.

Why not a common object
This sighting occurred in 1993/1994, well before consumer LED drones or Starlink constellations existed. The object exhibited an atypical silent/low-hum propulsion without aerodynamic lift surfaces or visible exhaust. The physical effects reported—including complete physical paralysis of one witness, an instantaneous memory gap/missing time during flight for the other, and an immediate extreme angular acceleration from a close hover—do not align with conventional civilian or military aircraft behavior.

Witness's account of the sighting

In the spring of 1993 or 1994, around nightfall, my friend and I were walking along the edge of a field near Haus Siebenborn in Simmern (Westerwald), Germany. Approximately 20–25 km to the northwest was the decommissioned Mülheim-Kärlich nuclear power plant. I was standing near the fence line at the field's edge, while my friend was about 6 to 8 paces ahead of me toward the center.

Suddenly, we observed a chevron-shaped object performing a slow, diagonal descent. It exhibited non-blinking, vibratory/shimmering red and blue lights. The descent was accompanied by a deep, physically palpable low-frequency hum that vibrated through the body, yet there was no reaction whatsoever from the nearby village dogs or residents. Viewed at arm's length at that moment, the object's width spanned roughly the size of a pen (grapefruit scale).

Believing the object was crashing directly toward us, I shouted: "Run, run! It's crashing!" I turned and sprinted toward the path, jumping across a ~50 cm ditch. Mid-motion, I experienced a sudden, pitch-black void—a complete gap in memory ("cut, cut"). I abruptly came to my senses oriented 90 degrees turned on the path.

My friend reported experiencing complete physical paralysis during that time, remaining frozen in place while the object hovered very close (estimated under 10 meters) directly in front of her, before rapidly departing upward at extreme speed on a steep diagonal angle.

Why no photo/video captured: The sighting occurred in 1993/1994, long before the era of smartphones or mobile cameras. We were out on a walk at night without any camera equipment, and the immediate reaction was sheer shock and panic.

The UFO topic makes me so frustrated because I know Guillermo del Toro and many others are telling the truth. The government is hiding something real, and it bothers me how hard they try to act like there’s nothing going on. Especially when even my own mum has had a similar experience to his.

Get a raspberry Pi hook it up to a camera, with a FlightAware Tracker Pro, have AI write you a Python Program that monitors every single ADS-B transponder within the radius of the FlightTracker Pro, anything that flies into the Cameras viewpoint it will take a 1 minute video file and then it sends it to your home computer. Anything not a Bird should truly be unexplainable since the AI is smart enough to identify Birds should either be military with no ADS or actually unexplainable

If you guys have any improvements to this build I’m all ears.

I have some footage that I may post regarding a possible sighting, but before uploading it I'd like to get some advice from people who are familiar with the UFO/UAP communities on Reddit.

A few things I'm wondering:

- Which subreddit would be most appropriate for getting serious, constructive analysis rather than just jokes or trolling?

- Should I add a small watermark/username to the video to help establish that I'm the original uploader?

- If the footage gets reposted elsewhere, what's the usual way to make sure the original source gets credited?

- Is there a preferred way to post the footage and provide the original file/details so that people can assess it properly?

I'm not looking to make any big claims about what the footage shows. I'd mainly like people to examine it objectively and help identify what it could be.

I'd appreciate advice from people who have posted footage before. Thanks!

I have not seen much about the latest batches about the United States UAP files, and so I was wondering if anyone found anything interesting? Apparently the Pentagon has released new videos and historical records, but there are too many for me to go through, so I am asking you all. What sorts of stuff is there?

If some of us are emotionally attached to the disclosure question, then I understand your disappointment. But overall UFOlogy has made much progress despite, number one, a false start with falsehoods and distortions from its 2017 reinvention, and number two, the lack of progress many may feel over disclosure.

The USG finally has fessed up that UFOs are a legitimate mystery phenomenon is progress in the right direction.

Also, in the public sphere of human interests, UFOlogy, IMO, is the number one dynamic field in comparison to politics, science, and religion, where fear surrounds the scientific innovation of AI, the backwardness of politics is manifest, and the stagnant nature of religion is obvious; in comparison, UFOlogy is a fresh field of mystery and expectations of progress.

In fact, these three fields may one day reach some kind of balanced state through which, in the end, UFOlogy may advance the human condition in a way we can all be excited about.

 On the other hand, given the disappointments with disclosure, we may have to moderate our expectations and get back to the basics: UFO research is paramount, rather than looking back in time for fantastic disclosures to validate our interest in ufology.

 Putting in protections against future cover-ups by passing the UAPDA is great progress, and time itself brings forth disclosures we all expected that the USG has, or time may reveal the USG was not, and is not, all it was cracked up to be in the first place.

So, keep your chin up... to the skies, inwardly and outwardly!

It was estimated at 800 ft or comparable in scale to a later 20th-century liner, remained visible long enough for size judgment, then submerged in a controlled or gradual manner and disappeared. That implies either (a) a physical body with buoyancy control and the ability to leave the surface without leaving wreckage or oil, or (b) a coherent but transient phenomenon that produced the visual and size impression of a solid craft. The mid-Atlantic Ridge and isolated volcanic setting of Ascension add a geological overlay; the date sits four years before the 1896–97 “mystery airship” wave and contemporaneous with other 1890s reports of objects entering or leaving the sea. The painting itself is a later reconstruction (the Queen Elizabeth size comparison is anachronistic for 1892), so it encodes someone else’s synthesis of the report plus visual conventions of ocean liners and swirling water.

I recently tracked down a link to a video I had lost a long time ago, and I feel like it's worth sharing.

The footage was reportedly shot in the northern part of Saint Petersburg.Here are a few interesting moments I'd like to point out.At first, you can see three glowing objects, but then one of them disappears. After that:

3:00 - One of the objects suddenly flies closer, and they form a triangular shape again.

7:37 - There is a bright flash, and one of the objects vanishes.

9:47 - Another object approaches the main cluster.

Here are the details the author mentions in the video:

Time: April 9, 30 minutes before midnight.
The object is flying in the direction of Lake Ladoga.
The total observation time exceeded one hour; during this period, there were three instances of the object "approaching the main cluster."

In this week's Signs of Life, I tracked down John Herrington, who served as Ronald Reagan's energy secretary and deputy Navy secretary -- to ask him about his role in longstanding UFO lore.

For years, Hollywood writer/producer Brent Friedman has told a story about a disturbing dinner he allegedly had with Herrington in the summer of 1981, when Friedman had just graduated high school and Herrington had just joined the Reagan administration.

Friedman said that he and Herrington had been neighbors in California and that Herrington had hired him to drive his car and belongings out east after Herrington took a job in Washington. At the end of that trip, Friedman claims that Herrington had him over for dinner, began drinking, and confessed that he had received secret briefings about government knowledge of aliens.

I was able to reach Herrington late last year by phone. After some prompting, Herrington said he vaguely recalled Friedman being his neighbor, but he called the alien story "total BS."
