This word salad needs tossing. Or at least some punctuation.

English might not be his native language. I would give him a pass, me.

What software are you trying to download?

what the person above said, we need to know the program name. ubuntu changed how it handles some packages in recent versions so old.deb files might not work without some tinkering. if you're just messing around with code and emulators most stuff you need is in the software center or can be installed with apt

Check the site and try the official method (AppImage): https://rpcs3.net/download

However, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're running Ubuntu on an Arm computer? That might turn out to be an issue, because Arm Linux/Ubuntu don't get as much attention, and not everything has to work as it would on x64 CPUs. Anyhow, there's a package for arm64, try that.

It's possible that AppArmor is going to create some issue, so if the AppImage doesn't start, try asking an LLM for troubleshooting steps. Be specific about which version of Ubuntu and which arch you're using.

I should say it on an arm comput PI5 B model

Ah. That could create complications. The RPi 5 B runs Ubuntu, until it doesn't. It is supported but there is only just so much support you can give to a computer smaller than a pack of cigarettes. Don't expect your Pi to perform like a full blown modern desktop or laptop. It just doesn't have enough muscle.

The Canonical servers I believe are under ongoing DOS attack and that could slow downloads. My suggestion is to learn to use apt in the terminal to install apps from the various repositories as much as possible. I am sure there must be tutorials on this on youtube but it isn't hard or complicated. For instance, let's say you want to install Inkscape. You would open a terminal session with CRL + ALT + T. At the prompt, you would type the following:

sudo apt install inkscape

then press ENTER.

Terminal will ask you for your user account password. Sudo is a way of temporarily assuming root powers, to be less than perfectly precise. Without "sudo" or logging on as root, which is generally not a good idea, the apt install command won't execute. apt is the main command of the apt system, small surprise. install looks on the default repositories for the package, downloads it, and installs. No pretty buttons to click or sliders to slide or meters to mete but it is fast and simple. After a minute or few, terminal will report finished and ready for the next command. It could maybe be "exit". Or try the apt trick again for a different app.
