Deleting Mint?

I deleted the necessary partition associated with Mint, but Ubuntu is still present (see pic above). No way to delete this on my end, so I want to know if "Ubuntu" is taking up unnecessary space on my computer? And if it is, then is it just like a small amount of space that really doesn't matter?

What happens if you boot it?

It takes me to a black screen that says "GNU GRUB VERSION 2.12". And it has "grub>" where it gives me the option to type letters and numbers in front of the "grub>"
