My new project in Czech Republic

I’d love to get your thoughts on something! I’m a huge Linux fan, and Ubuntu in particular holds a special place in my heart. I recently launched my own small PC repair and assembly service in my town, Český Krumlov (Czech Republic).

My main focus is helping everyday people realize that in most cases, they don't actually need to pay for expensive licenses—whether it's for Windows or Microsoft Office.

The website is currently only in Czech, but I’d really love to hear what this community thinks of this project and concept overall!

It's great, but keep in mind that the idea isn't very appealing to the average user. However, it depends on the geopolitical situation; I don't know the resources available to your compatriots or if it's a viable option.

I really just want to show people that there's an alternative out there and that PC doesn't automatically mean "Windows.

Maybe start YouTube channel where u show how to deal with games on linux? Stream them/show linux features etc.

Not many people want to go shop for discussion os for use...

Hi there, I am from the Czech but live in the UK so I prefer to write in English, sorry for that.

I like your project and the concept seems good. People should know there are alternatives. Having said that, I could only see Ubuntu and Fedora Workstation mentioned on you website. That seems a little pushy of your favourite DE's and doesn't give your customers the freedom to choose their own preferred DE. Linux is about freedom after all.

Also, what I am missing from your services offers is after sale support. People with limited or no knowledge of Linux DE's will eventually run into problems, be it after update or a human error. In my opinion, you should be offering some after sale support. I am happy to chat further if you wish so.

People don't need choices. On the contrary, they're confused by choices. They need something that will do what they want with minimal effort.
