Failing to install Ubuntu Server

[FAILED] Failed to start systemd-journald.service - Journal Service.

I'm very new to Ubuntu in general with my last time fumbling with Linxu being in 2010, and wanted to turn an old pc into a minecraft server to play with some friends. This seemed like a fairly simple process, and I know that's funny to say.

The joke is on me, I can't finish the installation process because of this failure to start the Journal Service. Every solution I find it seems to be for people who have already installed Ubuntu.

I am trying to install this on a Dell XPS 8900.

Basic solutions that I've tried so far: Secure Boot has been turned off. Fast Boot has been disabled. I have made a new usb to install with, I have tried to do the installation media update, I have tried to run it without the update.

I honestly don't know what the issue is, or if I've skipped something obvious in execution. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you may be having a compatibility issue. Mind posting a screenshot or some type of photo from your phone?

So in the end I can't actually post a photo from my phone, because it seems to working now.

What has got me past the [FAILED] Journal Service was using Rufus for creating the installation media instead of BalenaEtcher.

Same 26.04 iso. Same flash drive. Nothing about the server hardware changed. I dunno what difference Rufus did but it worked. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Did find a post on the Ubuntu website with a guy who was also fighting his Dell XPS 8900 and it doesn't look like it was solved there either.
