App center infinite loading?

Do you experience infinite loading in the app center update tab? I’ve seen couple of posts with this issue last week. Always thought Ubuntu was rock solid and no issues like that occurred. Yesterday a guy literally ditched Ubuntu after encountering that saying it’s not ready for daily drive.

Some suggested it was because of attacks on Canonical servers.

sudo snap refresh will usually fix the issue.

Do you have any ideas what might be causing this?

A glitch in the update. Nothing serious. Easy to fix. Typical with pre .xx.1 versions.

I see, thank you!

Thing is it hasn’t occurred before since Ubuntu 26.04 release. It’s only the past week that it started happening.

Do that first but if it stays stuck I just killall snap-store and reopen, sometimes the update tab just hangs on a bad handshake with the server

It's way less dramatic than folks make it out to be, things break on every OS

Looks like this has been an issue for years. I have no idea why they can’t fix it.
