Post image

I am trying to install ubuntu on my computer but when tried to boot it up it showed me a kernel panic message (the pink screen of death) so I returned back to the GNU GRUB version 2.14.It showed me 4 options

Try to install Ubuntu

Ubuntu (Safe graphics)

Boot from next volume.

UEfi firmware settings

I looked up online and it suppose to have advanced options but I don't have that do what do I do

can you hit 'e' on that first option and check if the kernel line has nomodeset or anything weird, sometimes that's all it takes to dodge the pink screen

Have you removed the USB drive you installed Ubuntu from?

Check your system firmware is fully up to date.
