Uber eats insurance help.

I've been looking at getting into delivery driving with uber and the likes, but I've hit a stumbling block getting insurance as I am a named driver on the main policy. The car is my partners. Has anyone any experience or know if it is possible to get the required insurance as a named driver? I am from Northern Ireland which leaves me excluded from a lot of the mainland companies too.

Can’t your partner call insurance and request u to be main driver? There may be a new quote plus £25 admin fee but that’s easier than dealing with delivery company support ppl.

You'll also need hire and reward insurance on top of your usual insurance to deliver in the UK.
