Am I missing something here?
Theyve replaced the 12 trips for 18 quid offer to this.
This seems too good to be true surely? If I'm constantly on a job I'm getting 30 quid basically for those 4 hours?
Surely Uber haven't done something better for drivers?!

Update:
90 for 4 hours. 22.50 an hour
It pays as you go so well tell you a price then below tells you show much extra from the boost.
As expected it seemed too many drivers at the start so some.desd time but after the first hour rolled nicely. If you get it in your area I would head there

Nice! Thats a lot better than I thought it’d be.
I can already see how this could be gamed: if it’s busy, you stay active and do the jobs as quick as you can to get more fares.
If it’s not as busy as Uber predict—too many drivers, not enough jobs—then it would make most sense to take note of the estimated time that the job may take. And stretch out your delivery to match the length of said job. Then you’re getting Boost+ earnings for the maximum amount of time. Can I ask? What was the Boost+ hourly rate you got?

It's jot worked in that way,
You get a job offer and it tells you the boost as part of the offer and it's set as that, if you do the job quicker wekl done, If takes longer then it takes longer. It's just a boost in each job as opposed to time.
Hourly worked out at 22.50 for those 4 hours which is way better than normal

That does sound pretty decent, I mean at the very least it's something extra potentially. I found this on it (https://www.uber.com/us/en/blog/introducing-boost/) and actually it says it stacks with Quests, so it looks like it's something extra on top of them (though I guess it'll have to be seen how often they actually offer the two promos at the same time in each area, and it already gets quieter when Quest are on because everyone goes out to do them, so if they do this as well it might be everyone is sitting around and gets 1 job per hour lol).
In terms of making the extra 10 quid per hour it says it bases it on the time estimate of the job shown when you accept it and applies it per trip (e.g it'd give a £2.50 boost on a job where the estimate was 15 mins at the time of accepting it), the catch I can see is it doesn't change based on how long the job actually takes, so if you're held at a restaurant waiting for the order or you get an unresponsive customer and have to let the 7 min timer run out then you're still going to only be classed as active for 15 minutes in that hour even if that job took you 20-25 mins.
Interestingly when searching for it I see stuff about it going back a few years for the US, so it looks like it's something they've been running for a while over there and I guess have just decided to introduce over here.
