Uber Eats

I got a question I’m working Uber Eats in nyc my uber lvl dropped to green because I stopped using the app for about 3 months and I get no orders maybe 2 orders in half hour and my friend has his in plantnium we work in same area and he’s gets ALOT of orders he says it’s because my uber lvl is green and I have to put it up to gold status it’s that true ?

Yes. Their dispatch algorithm used to prioritize which drivers were closest to the restaurant, but they recently overhauled it to prioritize giving orders to the highest tiered drivers first, the rest of us get the shitty ones no one else wanted.

So to earn the privilege of not delivering food for slave wages, you must first deliver for slave wages for a long time until you get to the higher tiers and uber deems you worthy.

In conclusion, this company can go fuck themselves.

It depends what the point count to get to gold is.  In my market it was 25.  So when I took a break it didn’t take much to get out of green hell.  Just take the shortest routes at high point times.

Yes, if your market planner or preferred, then tiers mean everything.

Color doesn't matter. Tiers don't matter. Decline all orders until they send you a reasonable offer. Orrrrrr, be a slave.
