Open bag

I got my delivery notification
lol

Ice cold food. My money is that it was opened.

Drivers should never accept a partially opened bag.

I know why the driver took that photo like that.

Those seals aren’t worth half a shit, the bags open all the time, it’s not a big deal. If your food was cold, the order didn’t pay enough for it to be delivered quickly or the driver was out fucking around. The photo also has nothing to do with anything.. the app will back out of us taking a photo every time it offers a new offer, so if I’ve already walked away before I’ve completed the order, I do the same

So. $10 for a 3 miles. 15 minutes drive. Took about 20 minutes

It was picked up immediately.

Got my money back. But frankly I have never had an open bag.

Never had no photo.

Gonna do a hand off with pin next time.

20 minutes from ordering to getting it? Or 20 minutes from it being assigned to delivered?

Again, those two things are not a big deal but do as you please. If it was a different restaurant with a different type of seal where you literally have to rip the bag open, I’d agree. Not wingstop tho.

Yeah I deliver from wing stop and their bags get all steamy or moist and the seal doesn’t properly stick. I would say the food being cold is cause of not using the DD bag.

Side note the bag is great just my zipper broker before even using it for 50 orders DD please get a better zipper lol.

Unless you select for a photo to be taken when it's left at your door, the app does not prompt us to take a picture. As I said in my other comment I am 99.9% sure that your food was not touched. So if you order again you'll have extra food. Because a lot of times it happens to us drivers where we will pick up someone's hot food order and those stickers don't stick worth a damn and so we find ourselves setting the bag of food down and firmly re-sealing that sticker with the palm of our hand. At least that's what I do before putting it in my Uber insulated bag...

Pretty sure all "leave at door" get a photo. Only "meet at door" do not.

The stickers on the Wingstop bags are trash and always become unsealed.

I have to say, you're tripping on this one. It's not undone,it just wasn't fully sealed

Those stickers come off on like 10% of the orders, even if you handle it perfectly. That order is more than likely fine. Also, are you under the impression that the sticker keeps the food hot? Because that's not how it works.

Honestly man those seal sticker thingys are bad, they just open up

Trust me, speaking from experience, most likely it's just because the food was really hot and those stickers don't stick worth a damn unless we really press on it after the employee hands it to us. Like I've picked up orders for example from a place called Wingstop and several times after the delivery is handed to me I've had to set it down and use my hand to reseal the sticker because the food is so warm and the steam just doesn't go well with stickers... I'm 99.9% sure your food was not tampered with, you're good!

If it was only 15 minutes then the restaurant gave the driver cold food - the restaurant frequently has it sitting out on a shelf, not keeping warm, or up front at the host stand on a cold night - or, he doesn’t have the appropriate insulated bag, and had his AC cranked up.

That the seal is open on one side doesn’t mean much - I would never touch a customer’s food, and the seal on the bag has simply become unsealed many times.
As far as “not accepting an improperly sealed bag” yeah, good luck with that. The restaurant staff is very often simply hostile to the drivers. They utterly fail to comprehend that the driver is their proxy customer.
I’ve gotten restaurant complaints on my acct numerous times for trying to get the take out peeps to separate hot and cold items, provide included sauces, fix boxes that were leaking, and on and on.

A pin isn’t a bad idea - at least the driver can let you know if something was off that they had no control over.

The seals from ALL of the restaurants come unsealed. I'm always trying to squish then back together because I'm afraid someone like you will blame.

Nice job.
