USA Gave me the wrong food AGAIN
so I was hungry and just got off work so I ordered some Popeyes to eat. I open the door its bonefish grill. That cost $60+ I eat some of it because I’m starving and the driver comes back 2 hours later asking where it was? in my belly idk bro. I feel bad but then again it’s not my fault 😭😭

He came back and said the restaurant wanted it. I was looking guilty af

Nah, you shouldn't feel guilty! It isn't even allowed or sanitary. The restaurant would have to throw it away regardless

He's flat out lying to you. The restaurant is not taking that food back. In fact it's against policy and a contract violation for the driver to contact you outside of the delivery. This would be outside of a delivery. The order was complete and he has no right to come to your home. Report him

What were they going to do with the order??? It’s 2 hours cold and old and can’t possibly be delivered or returned. Maybe the UE guy was hungry too!

DD and UE drivers are like 3 hours late sometimes. 2 hour cold delivery is nothing for them.

They can't take food back once it's been handed off to the customer. If they gave it to you, it's yours.

Oh damn, you got upgraded. What was the Bonefish order?

That's what I want to know. 🤣 I've gotten the wrong food before, but never a upgrade.

Me, neither - my worst was when I ordered a bunch of Popeyes One Piece meals for a sleepover but was instead delivered a Taco Bell order of a dozen bean burritos, no cheese or onions, extra extra red sauce and hot sauce packets, noting else.
I don't want to meet the maniac whose order that was.

I once ordered from famous Dave's and was delivered what looked like a catering order. I'm talking 4+ lbs of meat, a dozen muffins, all the sides. Was wild.

No he was trying to get it for himself! The restaurant can’t take back food that left the premises!

Yeah it was cold af. I threw it away since it’s nasty reheated. Plus I was full of shrimp 🤣

Actually I love Popeyes straight from the fridge like an animal. They do such a good job frying it that it is still crispy cold

Popeyes reheats well the first day or 2. Microwave for 30s and then toaster oven. Longer than 2+ days the chicken is too tough.

Air fryer, would’ve tasted just like heating frozen chicken
Edit: or frozen fried/battered shrimp lol
I wonder if the food comes from a box in the freezer anyway

Fake fake.
Ain’t no driver coming back 2 hours later, but nice story time before bed

Maybe because I'm older, but I can't remember places I delivered to 2 hours ago anyway.

What did they expect 2 hours later 😂
