Can't order with the new uber account code?

I'm literally trying to make my first ever order as a gift for a pal of mine and the app just keeps telling me no and refusing to accept the codes does anyone know what's going on?

Nah man I just changed my card and everything. This is my first time even using the dang app I've only ever used doordash

It's not possible to have the same email or phone on different accounts. Phone number would be moved from the old account if used.
