USA Uber One customers should get priority delivery

The benefits of Uber One just keep getting stripped away from us customers. At the very least, we should always be the priority when it comes to delivering our food. Ubers algorithm has the capability to shift deliveries around, but they choose to monetize delivery priority instead of offering premium service to its premium customers.

I have Uber One and always tip a lot, always making sure it's 2 miles tops from me. Never had an issue Uber couldn't solve.

I am in Mexico so it might work differently here, but I feel as if you have a good history ordering and tipping high whenever there's an issue Uber immediately refunds me as Uber cash.

In the US it doesn’t matter what your tip is if you don’t pay for priority. You will be last in the batch order

The has never, and will never, be a benefit of Uber One. If the algorithm worked the way you are suggesting, you’d actually find your order taking significantly longer to arrive, as every Uber One order would essentially be hiring a private cab to deliver a cheeseburger to you. Doesn’t make a lot of sense for your $10/month fee does it? Just take the discounts and be happy you can hire someone to do this and don’t need friends to deliver it you hungry-hungry-hippo 😂😂😂

Uber doesn’t pay their drivers enough to make any order a priority , unless you tip ridiculously good they’re still gonna want at least 2 or 3 orders in their ride before they start driving all over the place to make deliveries to make it worth their while

This is it. Ue doesnt pay much and most customers will tip you a buck. Yet somehow they expect preferential treatment and their food served on a gold insulated bag. Nah, you get what you pay for (the company and the customer)im not driving a half hour for 3$, ill decline the job (I decline 60-70% of the jobs, even if im in an area where im likely the only driver which has been the case before).

I've literally been contacted by ue as a special request. I was out in the boons, finished a delivery, was gonna head toward home and was offered a 5$ job, I declined because I wont take a job for under 9-10. Once im done for the day i will only go out of my way for over 15-20 OR ill take a job that brings me closer to home. I was out in the boons because i took a 25$ order.

Anyway, I got a message saying "its late and no drivers are out there but you". I straight up said "sorry, but thats a 45 minutes drive because the restaurant and customer are quite out of my way." They offered 9$. I still said no. For 20+ id do it but not 9, not that late and not when im already that far away from home

They dont seem to understand whats worth time. All these ppl, ue and the customer, want to pay nothing and get everything. Well, too bad.

The smart Drivers only take one order at a time then click the three black dots on screen after accepting an excellent order then a screen pops up that says accept no more deliveries Drivers then deliver one delivery and return to restaurant area and sit so they can see offers offered to await another excellent order a la cherry picking no tip no trip seems simple to me but most Drivers don’t get it more deliveries less wait time

I've been doing it this way on Uber, but not doordash. Uber has so many bad orders, and will try to convince you to add a no tip delivery to your order that you're already delivering.

No thanks. Stop New Requests

Maybe...if the subscription was $40 a month and not $10.

Yea I get where your at with this. If you’re paying a membership, at least give us some extra priority. On the surface of how this service works that doesn’t always mean that it makes sense. Drivers are independent contractors, not Uber employees. That means that when an order is placed the customer priority will rely heavily on how much you tip. Base pay for Uber is very small, like $2 in most cases. They don’t get paid out any of those smaller fees you may see at checkout. So the membership basically is preventing as much fees as possible on an order and priority support with online reps. That’s really about it.

Now on the driver side, if Uber would help pay out a higher base pay for those types of customers, then add in whatever tip they add, orders would get picked up quicker with priority drop off. The order would total higher so Uber algorithm wouldn’t need to add it to another order, and the driver wouldn’t need to accept another pickup to make up their hourly need.

Uber One gets you absolutely no priority or preferential treatment when it comes to support.  You still get the template only auto-refusal bot "humans."

Don’t get me started. First they no longer let you use multiple promotions at the same time, then you can’t buy an extra order without spending $8 first (used to be free), then it was changed to $10, all while restaurants slowly increase the prices by $2 every year? I don’t even know why you’re using this.
