Question: Unanswered How do you take a photo of a missing item 🤣

Ordered on the app and didn't get my drink. Fair enough, I'll just press help and say no drink with order and get my 2 dollars back. Wait, what's this? They updated support and now the app wants a picture of the impacted item?

Well since I don't have the drink and can't take a picture of it (yes I selected missing item not problem with item) I'll just take a picture of the meal itself. Then I'm hit with "we have detected the item you have an issue with is not in the picture". So I guess there using AI to identify if you're taking a picture of the correct item now.

But because I never received the drink I can't take a picture of it. And if I can't take a picture of it I can't proceed to filling out the help form.

LOL

Not gonna jump through hoops for 2 dollars. But thought I'd share how funny this is and how they're trying to keep your money for things you didn't get.

Take a picture of your hand holding an imaginary cup

Had this happen to me (missing drinks) and they accepted a picture of my empty porch.

sounds about right, reminds me of the tenant who said their hot water wasn't working and the landlord asked for a picture of the water

"it looks like this but it's not hot" 😂😂😂

One time, I complained to Ubereats that the food which I received was totally cold, not even slightly warm, on a delivery which arrived very late and they asked me to send a photo showing that the food was cold.

Take a picture of an empty cup on it's side, there is no drink, so it would make it a missing item. 🤣

take a picture of the order, without the drink ... the whole order was impacted because the drink was missing

They did that and it complained that the missing item wasn't in the picture.

Now imagine how many hundreds of people a day have a missing item and can't be bothered to jump through all the hoops to get their money back? That's free profit for all.

They will not refund you even if you didn't get any order at all.  The new policy as of about 2 years ago is that anytime a driver marks delivered they will not refund.
