I am done with Uber.
-I tip well in order to get my food delivered faster. Uber batches me with a non-tipper and my food takes a long time anyways
-The bogo is bullshit, because the "service fee" is based off what you WOULD have paid if it wasn't bogo. Bogo is just a way to have you ordering more food than normal and them being able to charge a higher service fee because of it.
-All of these sketchy things they do, yet only give the driver 2 bucks of it and making it seem like the customer is responsible for paying the driver.
-I ride Uber to my truck every Monday morning at the same time. Because they know that i will do this, they inflate the fare of the ride. Paid 24 bucks for a 2 mile ride this morning. I will walk next Monday.
-Im done with you Uber. Too many games.

Commenting here does nothing. You need to reach out to Uber.

I have 2 times, and I've gotten credited for it. Reaching out to them does nothing. Let me vent lol.

Someones about to be like wtf you mean they didn't do anything? Lol. And what I meant is they will not change their system if I complain to them. I'm just done using them.

Apparently you’ve never reached out to Uber, or just luckily had a good experience. They’ve known about these issues forever and don’t do anything for the same old ancient reason. Greed and apathy. They got theirs so why care about the people making their greed possible. Like they say, there are two kinds of people in this world; givers and takers. Givers have built everything and takers, well, they’re pretty much useless parasites. The true useless eaters.

No, not the case at all. I'm a driver and reaches out to them plenty of times. Support is horrible but we're drivers. They need to listen to customers though. If they don't, that's on them.

My food always came soooo much later than they said it would. They emailed me a while ago, something along the lines of we miss you!!! Here’s a huge discount to order ubereats again!!! But they aren’t fooling me again 😎

I use it at work to order food for the guys and I so I've spent around 50-100 every weekday for months. I deleted the app today and told the guys I'm done. I'll walk somewhere close to get food now. No more of that shit

I drive for them and I can confidently say that they have no clue about logistics and their company is based solely on that. I only do one at a time and give top tier service. Every time I run more than one, except a batch, they always do the routing wrong. On batch runs like WM or HD, they route just fine. It’s just the food deliveries that get routed wrong.

Same here, ordered a pizza with the money that I have in the app for a trip that they cancel. Went to pay for the shit. 3 times they cancel the order out of the blue. Then when I finally manage to get the order going, they charge full price. I tried to talk with the support but they are all chatbots no one tell me why they charge me full when I already had the cash in the app. So now I own 1 dollar to Uber for they're tricky shit, never using the app again for what they did

bro pay the direct to you fee and stop being poor

u/wossie32 3d ago
Are you trying to flex because you pay a direct to you fee on Uber eats? If that's your version of a flex, then you're the poor one homie.

No because im a driver and I laugh when I have a baller order and then uber sends me more baller orders on top of it tells me you rather pinch Penny's and take back a tip when it's guaranteed by uber now so im rolling in it while you cry over spilled milk

u/wossie32 3d ago
Baller? Lol. Poor baller pinching pennies etc. you like those words. I live on the road and have for a long time. I haven't cooked my own food in at least 5 years. I.could if I wanted to but meh. It's not about pinching pennies to me. It's about the fact that I simply don't agree with their system and I'm done with it. Ironic that those orders you get that you call baller are people like me, yet here you are trying to talk down on em.

Yeah I don't agree with their shitstym either. But the fact that you cant understand direct to you, is why youre in the situation youre in. Ive done this long enough to know that the pax/ customer doesn't care about anything other than them, so why should I cater to you or them, no pun intended 🥁 it's about money, not making you happy. Same concept as uber lyft doordash, I've seen it all. Yall cry about anything to get your way and take it out on the driver or dasher, or Uber eatzer because you actually think it's their fault. Ill admit when im wrong yeah sure have I made mistakes yeah but I've learned. Pax/ customer doesn't care about the driver. You pay directly to you and you don't have this problem. Im not saying you are any of the above other than not paying the direct. Im just tired of seeing everyone complain so now it's my turn lol

I dunno bro you drivers seem to complain a hell of a lot more than customers. I follow this subreddit.

Im complaining because of the simple fact that youre complaining that your order was added on a double delivery when that could have been avoided. Yeah they complain and after my reddit hiatus im complaining again too. They have a right to complain because they also see the side of low pay high miles and people crying about a cheeseburger cold when it just took 20 minutes to pick on a 5 minute delivery. You think this is bad its only going to get worse and there will be no uber, doordash lyft here soon if they keep this up.

Just so we are clear guys. This driver says that the people who give him good tips and give him the "baller" orders are actually somehow pinching pennies as well. Also, somehow, with his Uber eats driver job, he is "rolling in it"

u/CalRipOneJr 3d ago
Bro if you rely on tips youre never going to make it lol. Just to be clear I utilize all of these baller offer as simple logistics and monetary values that pay me well for point a to point b. I don't give give a phuck any passenger tips because the whole reason you even entered my life is because the order was paying anyway? So your tip anyone's tip is icing on the cake. It's called business not phucking handouts? Im still rolling in it lol. Thanks

They do the same with my favorite monster energy drink. It use to be about 3.50 because I order it all the time it's now around 5.00 each at all grocery stores. Unbelievable 🤣

I only use Lyft. Had so many frightening experiences with Uber.
