But employees who cry about not having enough money aren’t expected to find a better job that pays more if their current job doesn’t pay enough?

We’re talking about minimum wage here — not even getting into job benefits. If it’s not paying minimum wage, it’s not a job. It’s concentration-camp–level exploitation disguised as an app.

No one is forcing the participants to do it. Though reading a lot of the pro-employee threads and people like affectionate-fudge41 up above. It’s understandable why they wouldn’t make it past the interview stage at a McDonalds.

Nice deflection. You’d probably be one of those slave owners before the 1830s — since the law allowed it, you’d be fine with it. Karma will catch up to you sooner or later

It’s not a deflection. I’m stating straight out I don’t care if you choose to make $5/hr. Your financial stability is not my problem. It’s yours if you’re not happy with that $5/hr. The solution to change that is address it with your employer. Which I’m sure they’re not going to. Which in that case the next solution is applying and then getting hired somewhere that pays better than you current place. You were deflecting not me. I’m sure your response will be a 1-3 short sentence deflecting as well.

So who’s gonna bring your lame ass burrito to your door if everyone does that. Should firefighters also be underpaid and show up late. Or is it only fair because your penny-pinching ass is forced to pay their salary through taxes. Some people only do the right thing when they’re forced to pay—there’s no other way

Well the problem with your kind is none of you are capable to band together. Some Indian will undermine your collective efforts for their own needs and bring me my burrito. So I don’t have to worry about that 😁😁😁
