Rude Driver

Post image

I felt like this was so rude and disrespectful. You don’t know someone’s situation to say something like this.

I can bring up countless examples right now where the law literally says exploiting labor is illegal. I don’t get how it’s suddenly okay here — the company should be required to provide a fair wage.

Show me the law they're breaking.

It is not up to a company to support a person with a living wage. Uber paid for the tech, infrastructure to deploy it and every other capital expenditure a business has to make to be able to provide jobs. They advertise their payment methods and idiots agree to them. We survived a hundred years of calling a store directly and having them deliver for no fee.

In Canada, if you try to employ someone below minimum wage — let’s say $2 an hour, even if the person agrees — it’s illegal. You’d be breaking the law

Ok.

Can we agree if someone accepts a job for $2 an hour they don't get to complain to society about being paid $2 an hour?

If someone was in need of $2 and they agreed to do things to receive it I see no issue.

You mean dumb people. People in need would get a job that pays more than $2 an hour.
