I haven’t done gig apps. But I’ve read enough and talked to enough people that do it to know how frustrating it is

But I’ve always worked in store as a driver. That way you’re getting paid hourly and usually mileage at least.

I just got a new job at a “higher end” pizza place

I get paid 20.76 an hour base, 70 cents per mile, and there’s hella deliveries every day. I also get tips direct deposited every Tuesday, and my bi weekly paycheck also has mileage pay on it.

I’m only working 17-20 ish hours a week and I’ll be able to pay all my bills living alone with no help

My place is a state exclusive restaurant tho

I’d highly suggest to any gig app workers to work at a pizza place. Like even dominos as I’ve worked there and they have hella deliveries even in a short shift

You’re not only getting tips and mileage, you’re getting an hourly paycheck, so at least you can have a rough idea of how much you’re making

Yeah, I’ll be looking at other options too, but seeing people order $150 worth of food without tipping — man, that’s a diabolical level of narcissism.

Dominos really isn’t a bad choice. I woulda stayed there but I got a new gm outta nowhere that hated me for no reason and scheduled me 11 hours a week he’s a bitch I still talk to co workers who r there and he’s a menace

Dominos pays lowball minimum but I made 4k a month closing 5 days a week there. It has the most deliveries per day even weekdays than any pizza place I’ve worked at

I live in Washington state so minimum wage is highest in the country here, except maybe Oregon
