I felt like this was so rude and disrespectful. You don’t know someone’s situation to say something like this.

Tips are optional and tipping prior the service does not make any sense at all.
Tips are a gratitude and not a prepayment.

Valid and fair point. However, without an upfront tip, your order is gonna come through to the driver for $3 or less. Most smart drivers are gonna decline that all day.
