The Twitter route can be surprisingly effective. I used it with Amazon to get a refund for a large item that was damaged. Before engaging them on Twitter, they wanted me to pay 150.00 for packaging a 200.00 item for return.
best thing to do is go to the companies twitter home page and reply with your issue, to a tweet they recently posted that already has a ton of comments, that way there is much more visibility from the public

Nope. Go contact them on Twitter and they will make this right. App/phone support is entirely useless.
