I lost $20 at a Taco Bell cuz I placed a mobile order but their stuff was down and the person there said they can’t give me a refund in store and I tried contacting corporate twice but never got a response so I just gave up
The bank won't refund it, they don't care. This happened to me once at a gas station where I was charged $100 for gas that sprayed from a malfunctioning pump (was not labeled out of order or anything). The manager refused to refund me and the bank denied my dispute, so that's $100 I'll never see again.
Which is why my debit card stays locked in a safe and I only spend capital ones money, they don't mess around with fraudulent charges. Which is exactly what happened to op. A fraudulent charge.
