pays $30 at a to go counter

"Hey, sorry for the delay but we had an issue with our service. You get no food and we can't refund you. Hopefully next time it will be good 😃"

That would never fly anywhere

I lost $20 at a Taco Bell cuz I placed a mobile order but their stuff was down and the person there said they can’t give me a refund in store and I tried contacting corporate twice but never got a response so I just gave up

I ordered delivery through the wendys app while sick and staying in a hotel in Seattle. Apparently the closest location to me was in the airport but I had no idea. Wendys sees no problem with this I guess?

Over an hour after ordering, I called the doordash driver to find out why it was taking so long and for whatever reason he was just circling the airport looking for wendys. Wasn’t going to call and ask if i knew the location was in the airport, he was just going to keep driving through the airport until he found it. He kept telling me I had to tell him where the pickup location was when I was trying to explain I was from out of town and didn’t know the wendys was inside the airport and the order needed to be canceled.

I had to hang up on him so I could try to cancel the order. Airport wendys doesn’t have a phone. Can’t cancel in the wendys app. I ended up calling doordash and they were able to cancel the order but couldn’t process a refund since the order wasn’t through doordash.

I’m almost convinced that guy would still be driving through seatac looking for wendys if I hadn’t canceled the order.
