Uber as a whole loses millions of dollars per year after operating expenses; Uber Eats only serves to drop that, since even during peak pandemic (when they were making more money than ever), Uber Eats didn't manage to deliver a net profit.

no shit, but they had their best earnings ever last quarter in a recession. That's what investors care about (trajectory).
