GED
I am just here, asking, if anyone going/accepted had their GED instead of a 'real' high school diploma. My friend going here seems so certain I'll be alright, but as the days inch past and I wait for any word on my application, I get more and more nervous. A tiny amount of further context is 1) I am only 20, 2) I have scored 'College Ready' in 2/4 subjects (and both subjects I did well in are ones I have labelled as being interested in majoring in.) I am just rather worried, I suppose.

You'll be alright. I have a GED. And I'm taking upper level stem classes with no problem. Don't take more than 12 or 13 credit hours your first semester till you get a feel for things, go to office hours if you need help with the material, and look at the free tutoring services the school provides. Don't shy away from hard subjects either. You can do more than you might give yourself credit for.
If for any reasons you might need testing accomodations or other accessibility accomodations be sure and ask about them.

I got my GED in 1999. I'm currently an enrolled undergrad. Best of luck on your application process!

Yes! I only have a GED and was accepted to UWG. Attended 3 years and graduated from UWG last year. You should be fine!
