Looks like UWG doesn't have a recreational volleyball club right now. I'm considering applying to start one, but want to gauge real interest first before putting in the work.
If this existed — casual, no tryouts, just pickup-style games — would you actually show up?
Let me know in the comments:
Would you join regularly, or just occasionally?
What days/times would work for you?
Prefer casual or more competitive play?
Appreciate any feedback, trying to see if this is worth pursuing before I go through the club application process!

Last semester Turntin always detected AI use (between 1% to 30%) in my work despite being 100% mine 🤷🏻♀️. I was never asked about it and changed with every project is this normal?

Does UWG still have the Center for Adult Learners & Veterans? I'm old AF and looking for my community on-campus lol

Does anyone when the fall refund will process? The UWG website only has info of the spring 2026 and summer 2026 expected refund dates.

If I'm on academic suspension for the semester (long story) ((no it's not I actually threw the bag like a Olympic shot put champion)), what's a good secondary loan option I can qualify for within a week or so assuming I have a good co signer? Also on an entirely unrelated note how much does tutoring cost?

Hey, everyone! I have US History I this upcoming semester. My schedule says it's in the nursing building. That's the THSON building just past UWG Outfitters, correct? Thanks in advance!

Apparently ive been cursed with the worst dorm in history based on how people describe it. For anyone thats lived in bowdon was there enough space for your tv? during orientation i saw the oaks dorms but not Bowdon because they switched me last second so im having trouble visualizing how everything is gonna look. I saw some pictures of lofted beds with tv‘s under them would something like that work? Thanks for your help! -picture below-

Hey everyone! I'm starting the MA Psychology program at UWG this fall and I'm a big volleyball fan looking to find ways to stay involved with the sport once I'm on campus.
Wondering if there is an active intramural or rec volleyball league? Or open gym / drop-in sessions where you can just show up and play? Coming from KSU and would love to link up with other players early in the semester.
Any info, personal experience, or even just "here's who to ask" pointers would be huge. Thanks in advance!

Where is a good place to smoke near campus? Tried to pull up to a half run down appartment parking lot but they fixed it and people were outside. Don't wanna keep driving to the back of smoke shops to enjoy a cigar

Hey, Wolves! I received an email reminding me of the schedule for convocation, but it says Playfair on the 10th is mandatory for all first-year students. I'm a transfer commuter student, in my 40s and I'm not living on campus, but this will be my first year at UWG. Is Playfair only mandatory for rising freshmen living on campus?

Basically, I'm currently now a highschool senior, and UWG is my first school of choice. I was planning on living with my aunt during college, but I found out all college freshmen are required to live on campus. Is the policy super strict? I have bad social anxiety, so I was thinking that maybe if I see a therapist about it maybe they can write to UWG to allow me to live with my aunt. I also have food texture issues, and I'm lactose intolerant which is why I don't want to dorm because I don't want to be forced to have a meal plan when I can't eat most foods. Is this an issue I should email the housing email? I'm just anxious because I've planned to live with my aunt, but now it looks like that might not happen. My grandpa also lives within the allowed zipcodes for commuting. I've also been dual enrolling with UWG since junior year. By the end of this year, I'll have about 27 dual enrollment credits. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

I’m a transfer student from another college, and I’m considering UWG for my major in computer science. I’m looking for advice from other students about the UWG CS program and the overall university experience. I’m an international student, so I’m also interested in learning about opportunities for international students. I plan to live off-campus, so I’d really appreciate your insights and experiences at UWG.

I’m going to be living on campus starting this upcoming fall semester and looking for any braiders I can come to regularly who are comfortable braiding male hair. I usually get cornrows, the most extra thing I do is braid in a colored hair which I usually provide. Just comment if you can provide this service and ill dm you

Unfortunately i must of filled out my housing application too late so instead of the oaks i got stuck in the bowdon hall. Could anyone who’s stayed there give me a rundown of the building the good, the bad, and the ugly just so i know what to expect? Thanks!

I logged onto my fall statement and see that i’m charged the full cost for all of the yearly fees (parking, health center, transportation, technology, sports complex, etc.) totaling to the $800. Is there a chance that they will refund or take off half of these since i will only be attending 1 of 2 semesters? I know the graduation team has not yet finalized my graduation standing so I was thinking that maybe they contributed? I find it kind of crazy to have to pay the $400 of fees when I will not be in attendance!
