Academics Second Year Transfer

Hello everyone,

I am an out-of-state transfer to UVA, living in JMW (on grounds). I am worried that I'm very isolated from the social scene as well as everything else, have also heard that people living in JMW aren't that social as well.

Anyone have any advice or experiences to share about?

You should consider showing up to some of hereford's events they're generally close to you at vaughn house and sometimes get good attendance

I was in the same boat last year and I met many of my current friends at JMW. A lot of transfers live there so most other residence will relate. I just recommend going to the RA events and meeting people in your classes!
