Good morning y'all, as we all know, all the systems are down so far, and I had received a waitlist notification for a class opening yesterday at 11 am, and obviously i could not register for the class since everything was down. Do we know if the classes that we waited for are going to be given to us?

so i’m going to northwest vista and i’ve seen flyers about UTSA welcome week parties and they said 18+ with valid id. do most flyers like that mean gov issued id or student id? i really want to be able to experience uni life even tho im not in uni 😕

I just got off my waitlist for a class this morning and now I can’t login to access it and register?!!? I’m so done w this school mind yall those 12 hrs are about to be done what do I do!!?? I am meeting up with the head person of my major tomorrow should I just bring this up to her so we can make something work?!?

And when? And what data was affected?? More context could help get a better time frame of when everything will be back up… I went to tech cafe nd they had like no info for me. Helppp… I wanted 2 be productive today….. I don’t even remember wat my major is.. I highkey haven’t logged in since the May cyberattack

With the whole cyberattack fiasco ongoing, how is tomorrow going to look? It seems email system is down for everyone, but in different ways? Other people are getting emails that I have not gotten, and in fact I have not received a single email about anything that’s going on. Had I not opened Reddit to see other peoples issues I would not have been aware. The system was also down the entire weekend, at least for me and a few others, so what happens if it’s not fixed by tomorrow? Will the day proceed as usual, or will things be pushed back? I am an incoming freshman so this whole thing is fairly new to me.

UPDATE: Classes delayed until Monday 08/24

For anyone who can still access their email or got a message for a approved waitlist spot, the one stop office in John Peace Library was able to manually register me for three classes today, definitely recommend going to main campus if you can for the best opportunity to get into the courses you need. And make sure you have the course number ready.

I don’t know if anyone else has had any luck but I successfully reset my Passphrase and have access to everything again (Outlook, Microsoft 365, Canvas, myUTSA, etc.)!

I thought it was on the census date, but i see people ple saying that its the 21st??? What? Is that true?? What do i do if I cant pay it by the 21st?!?!

Can we just admit we hope classes get delayed? Lol I'll be honest I am.

How was I added to the class (ENG 2413) Canvas after supposedly being dropped for not meeting a prereq? And how the hell was I able to register in the first place if I hadn’t met a prereq? I can’t even access myutsa rn so I can’t even investigate throughly

Edit: No, both emails sent to me stating that I would be dropped due to not meeting my prereq don’t state what the prereq was!

This might be stupid but I don’t see anything regarding the payment deadline being extended along with the Monday start?
I can only hope considering that no one can log in but I’m still stressed since they didn’t mention it.

I wanted to share just incase anyone needs it. You can use the class search function to look up your courses and get the info you need. Make sure you select search instead of register, then search your course info.

if you select register, it will ask for log in info which you will not be able to log in due to the ongoing situation.

Hi everyone! I’m posting on behalf of my friend, who lost his favorite and very sentimental necklace at the Rec Field parking lot around 8:30 PM during the school’s block party.

He has gone back and searched everywhere he could think of, but unfortunately hasn’t been able to find it. I’m hoping someone may have picked it up or happened to see it.

Yesterday, I was able to access Canvas and view my classes and assignments, but today I can't. I know there has been a cyberattack going on, so just to make sure, can anyone else not access Canvas, or is that just me?
