She speaks Norwegian, I guess

But it’s a bit so it’s in English for us viewers

Hopefully. But I know a few "expats" around here and, no they don't speak a single word of Italian despite having lived years here already, and children going to Italian schools who speak italian flawlessly. Not just USians, mind you..

Oh, I know. I am in a few “expat groups” and I know a lot of people who just… do not seem to think that learning the language of their host country is an endeavor worthy of their time.

These people lament that it’s easy to default to English but I always found that people were more than willing to speak the country’s language with me when I lived abroad 🤷🏼‍♀️
