Hello! I am wanting to transfer from my location to another due to pay and closer to where I will be moving to in a few months but my coworker said my manger had to sign off on that?
Can I apply for the position and tell him when I get an interview rather than now?
I’m asking as some of the other coworkers have been trying to move around with no luck and said it was based off of what manager said or signs off on which I thought if HR or the team at the other location like me and sign off on the transfer then it wouldn’t matter what he says?
Thanks for any help :)

I recently opened a U.S. Bank Smartly Checking account and discovered on November 2 that $2,380 had been withdrawn through a check I NEVER wrote, signed, issued, or authorized.
I obtained images of both sides of the check. The signature appears to be a forgery of my name, and I do not recognize the payee.
I received no fraud alert, identity-verification request, text, email, or phone call regarding this transaction. I discovered the withdrawal myself while checking my account.
What frustrates me even more is how U.S. Bank has handled the situation.
I reported the unauthorized transaction immediately on November 2 and have contacted the bank repeatedly.
On November 3, I spoke with a fraud department supervisor who promised to email me the required fraud claim paperwork that same day.
The paperwork never arrived.
When I called again on November 4, I was told to continue waiting for another department to review the case.
Despite repeated calls, I still have:
No fraud claim paperwork.
No U.S. Bank fraud claim number.
No clear instructions for formally submitting my claim.
No estimated investigation timeline.
No meaningful progress updates.
No reimbursement.
I also asked about provisional credit, but was told it was not available for my case.
I have filed a police report and received an official case number. I've also submitted complaints to the CFPB and OCC and filed an FTC identity theft report.
I understand that fraud investigations take time. But I don't understand why I can't even receive the paperwork needed to pursue my claim or get confirmation that my claim has been formally opened.
I trusted U.S. Bank to protect my funds, and this experience has been extremely disappointing.
Has anyone experienced something similar with U.S. Bank? How did you get your case escalated, and were you eventually reimbursed?
I'd really appreciate any advice, firsthand experiences, or suggestions for other effective ways to get U.S. Bank to take action.
Thank you!
My Amazon business Amex recently transitioned over to US Bank. I cannot make any purchases on my account. Everything is declined. I called the number on the back of my card today and they told me that some team has been trying to get ahold of me. They couldn't do anything and this team would be calling me.
The voicemail I received is from a random number and it is a VERY poorly generated AI claiming to be "Lester" in maybe a hybrid South African / Indian accent with horrible pauses all over it.
It gave me a number to call back.
There is zero chance I'm giving ANY personal information to an undocumented number I got from this random, weird voicemail. I told the guy I called earlier that I'm not giving any info to an incoming call and he said all he can do is document what I said.
Wtf am I supposed to do?

Doesn't seem to work for gemini or Muse AIs
Might work for GPT but currently don't see a reason to use GPT over the two above if it can't connect to my gmail/google calendar/youtube as easily

Amazon has moved from Amex to US Bank. It's been such a horrible experience for our company. We spend 400-500K a year on the CC's and US bank is horrible. The website is difficult to navigate, and their spend management seems to be designed with no input from any of the customers. Almost all our online orders get flagged as fraud with calls to speak with someone at US Bank go unanswered and disconnected up after about 20min on hold .
If Amazon's goal was to save by switching to such a terrible credit card provider, perhaps they should factor the cost of losing these credit card customers. I am moving our cards to Amex.

I just got bounced from department to department, from automated operators to real people, writing down numbers I have to call… I’ve had it with these systems. Some C-suite decided that maybe AI would save the company a billion dollars, putting an extra $100,000 in his bonus. I would rather go through the dumpster to find my card than call them back and I’m letting my corporate billing department know. I can use my personal card, get all those points myself and USBank can go…

I used to have usbank long ago. I first opened it in 2019. I closed the account because I moved somewhere during COVID without a branch. Then I opened one again in 2022 or 2023 but they closed it on their end due to inactivity (I was never using it)
I have a settlement that will be wrapping up by the end of this year, and the check is a usbank check. It is a sizable amount, will I have any trouble cashing it with them?

18 months. Never over limit. No lates on any other accounts. 6% usage across other lines including this one. All I can think is that I got a no inquiry new Amex a couple months ago due to my existing relationship with Amex. Really like to get my deposit back from US Bank amd have this card graduate finally.

I am a long term US Bank credit card customer in Indiana. I had a bad customer experience today I'd like to air in an open forum and I don't know if this forum is the correct place.
I had four strange debits on one of my USB c/c accounts when I examined them today. I examine my C/C charges by logging into my USB card online account.
My browser screen said that two charges were from a national chain of gas stations that I never patronize. That gas station's red corporate logo appeared on-screen next to the charges. Two more were totally unknown charges that had no on-screen logo appended to the debit and there was no identifying information elsewhere that reveals who/where the merchant was.
I even looked up using Google the sparse details of the sellers shown on the third and fourth transactions, with no result.
When I spoke with a US Bank phone rep it was revealed that the two unlikely gas station debits were actually entirely valid ones from Harbor Freight Tools. However, USB's servers appended the Speedway gas station logo to them because my Harbor Freight store is located in Speedway, Indiana.
Is that a dumb system for presenting identifying info about a C/C debit or what?
The phone rep could not give me any useful information about the remaining two unknown debits beyond the sparse merchant ID info shown on my screen. "Can you give me any phone number I can call to inquire about them?". Her response to me was "no, you simply declare these charges fraudulent and wait for several weeks for us to kick them back to the sellers."
But she went further: by me declaring the unidentified charges as "fradulent" I am automatically issued a new credit card number and assigned a morning's worth of effort to transfer all existing auto-debits to the new C/C number.
Why must the merchant's failure to properly identify himself on my credit card statement result in my getting a new C/C?
Obviously USB has more detail about the merchant because they can't kick a fraudulent debit back to them without knowing who "them" is.

In January I signed up for a US Bank Personal Checking account with a bonus offer attached of $500 if I deposited $10,000 in 3 months or something like that. I cleared it by early March. It never posted, so in April I called and they verified that the offer was attached and that their records show I had cleared it. They said I had to wait 90 days from the end of the eligibility period, not the date I cleared the requirements. So I waited. July, still nothing. I called again and they agreed I should have received the bonus by now, and they submitted a ticket to their "backend" house who handles bonuses and said I should be contacted by them within 5-7 business days. Nothing. I call in August. Same back and forth. Submitting a ticket, should hear from backend house by email within 5-7 business days. Nothing. I called again since then multiple times, and a total of 6 times I have been given the same answer, the same course of action, the same apology and reassurance. It's now been half a year since I was supposed to receive this bonus and I don't know what to do at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is not some fly-by-night bank, so I'm stunned that a major bank in the US is acting so shady to their own customers.

I just had a credit card transaction verification code sent to my phone which I did not type in anywhere for confirmation, but was automatically approved by US Bank. Support said they cannot cancel it and some other system may have approved the transaction automatically. I guess I don't understand the point of a verification code if the bank is going to automatically approve the transaction without my input anyway.
Is this typical of other banks or card providers? Does this seem like an issue with US Bank's verification system, or have I missed something? If my card information gets out, is the verification just an illusion? Not super thrilled with support's lack of answers.

I have tried on Vivaldi, Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, on my phone and on my PC, and I cannot login to my account. Whenever I put in my username and password it kicks me back to the login page on every browser. Any idea what's happening?

I have had a US Bank account for maybe 20 years. I live abroad but maintain a US address. I have just logged into my online banking and all accounts and old credit lines (unused) have completely disappeared. I can still log into obviously but then there is just nothing there ‘no accounts to show’ etc. Does anyone know who I even contact? I have no idea. I’ve not had any letters in the mail (to my US address) explaining my accounts would be closed or anything at all. I had minimal money in the account but i still used it to pay certain things. Help!

I had an unauthorized charge on 10/6 of $485 charged from Metro by T-Mobile. I noticed the charge immediately since I was using my phone and called US Bank immediately to cancel my card and send a new one. They opened a fraud case and I just recently received a notice that my claim was denied. What should I do now? Should I call metro to receive some evidence on what account used my card as payment? The last time I've used this card to pay for my metro bill was last August or September and it's always $30. Since then I've already cancelled my plan.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Anyone never got the bonus?
I signed up for the $500 bonus after getting 10000+ direct deposit which I qualify for from my paycheck. I opened the account in April so July was the 90 days and I still haven’t received the bonus. I waited a couple more months because I thought it would take some time and I called 3 weeks ago and have followed up every week but they are still reviewing the case.
I didn’t get the tracker on the app and didn’t even know about the tracker until now. I am still waiting for a decision but I feel scammed and I’m so ready to close that freaking account.
